Our trainer Keith Michaels was so welcoming with his manaakitanga from the moment the Zoom link began for me. Heading straight into a whanaungatanga session, it was the perfect introduction to the program.

Always personalizing the information so that the nuances that were relevant to us pending our reason for attending, was the perfect approach for my learning.

Keith was inclusive, informative, and has the extensive experience to not only support upcoming business owners like myself, but also able to always put the learning into a perspective that was relevant for us. Mindful.

The session was great - I would recommend Food Safe to anyone that needs to be certified also.
The mixture of media to assist with our learning was awesome too. In my opinion, variety in a learning environment always helps - well done!

Great experience doing a course online, Teacher was well spoken and had alot of knowledge to share.

I completed my Food Safety training today with Food Safe. The tutor had excellent knowledge and explained everything clearly according to our individual requirements.

In our online class, there were participants from different backgrounds — some were bakery owners making cookies, some were working on ship vessels, and others were from retail and takeaway businesses. The tutor explained the material according to each person’s role, which made it very helpful and easy to understand.

I would highly recommend this training to others.

the course was good for any experience level, Keith was light hearted and very good at explaining and making examples of certain topics,. What I found helpful was that its not pressuring and not a huge class if your someone who gets nervous.

I throughly enjoyed this course. I appreciated that Keith (course leader) took time to understand each participants needs, and then incorporated them into the lesson. Good for people starting new in the industry, or as a refresher for those who have completed before, there were a mix of people in our session and those who had completed prior spoke of new learnings, and as someone with limited prior knowledge, I took a lot from it.

It was fun and very helpful this was a refresher for me,I learnt a few new things. Keith is an awesome teacher!

I recently completed the Food Safe Food Safety and Hygiene course and found it incredibly worthwhile. The content was clear, well-structured, and very easy to follow, even for people with little prior knowledge. The trainer, Keith, explained everything in a practical, real-world way, and I came away with a much better understanding of safe food handling practices and the legal requirements.

I really appreciated how interactive and engaging the course was — it didn’t feel like just ticking a box, but actually gave me confidence in applying what I learned. The materials and examples were relevant, and I now feel much more prepared to keep both customers and my workplace safe.
